I again just cannot comprehend it when it's first person shooter AND especially when you have to move camera and survive, unlike something like Doom where all enemies are just there before you almost all the time, only turn buttons and strafe buttons really matter (even then still clunky). well, i am trying to emulate that, except they shoot me and my fingers miss right buttons to look up or down and back off into cover and I have to also aim at them with mouse.Īgain, to hear Spector himself admitting that he thought mouse look was a fad. Back then I remember carefully sneaking around the map trying to snipe baddies from a distance. Playing it nowadays is a slightly different experience, because with mouselook and high frame rates it's a faster-paced experience.
